Trondheym is an Electronic-Jazz Band from Berlin and was founded in 2003 by Gerhard Schmitt (Guitar)

All songs have grown out of this waiting, and after the interactive music the desire of musicians to produce the music resulting grew. Trondheym is optionally supported by video artist Macabo. Here you find the sonic scenarios between Berlin club sounds and Scandinavian length their optical analogies. In December 2005 trondheym graduated at the invitation of the German Embassy a tour of Asia and represented Germany at the 5th European Jazz Festival in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. With the support of the Goethe Institute followed by concerts in Zhuhai, China and Bangkok, Thailand.
Since autumn 2007, the bass clarinetist Lars Dietrich plays instead of the trumpeter Nicholas Neuser at Trondheym.
